STANDARD (SFS Type)

B-Flex (SFS TYPE) : Standard "B-Flex” flexible metallic conduits consists of a combination of two layers of steel tapes and one layer of fiber/craft paper tape. The outer layer of zinc coated steel tape or lead coated steel tape,the intermediate layer of fiber/craft paper, and the inner layer of zinc coated steel tape or lead coated steel tape are used. The width of these tapes depend upon the diameter of the conduit and is tightly wound in spiral,overlapping each other to form a continuous flexible pipe. Double thread screws are applied in spiral which is reverse to direction of layers,thus preventing the winding of the layers from becoming loose. Threads are automatically formed during the process.

CONSTRUCTION (SFA Type)

NOTE

Note : Special “B-Flex” conduits (SFS Type) is also available on special requests.This consists of outer layer of zinc coated steel tapes,intermediate layer of zinc coated steel tapes and inner layer of fiber/craft paper. The conduits are also available with PVC coating i;e SFS-P Type and SSF-P Type.

Other kind of metallic tube using copper or aluminium strips is also available. In order to meet market and customer demands,the conduits and fittings in different materials and techniques are available on special customer request.
